Played on all skill levels. 1 secret found. This map has a big flaw: it has a soft block which i think are good, but if the means for get through aren’t found (and are partially hidden) and with the right timing, it is impossible to get past without cheats, if it is it provides a decent encounter. -The second while less important is that skill 0 is the same as skill 2, quite hard. The map as a whole sometimes is on the level of unfair or about having to die at least once to get past some parts. -The third and fourth are the usual with this mapper too hard first room and overload in shells and nails. If i ignore them, the map is better than the second with some inventive parts, the cramped parts aren’t part of encounters, and the layout, placement of enemies and lighting improves. As it is i rate it a 3-, but without the first and second flaws it would be a 4. ---

I would rate this a 3/5 just like the others map. But the final fight was hugely unfair. If it wasn’t for the secret stash (quad+invul+megah) I think it’s annoying as hell. If the ogre had the Y axis aiming, this map would be hell. ---

Unregistered user “ **pmk** ” posted: Average quake map that is better than the author’s previous map real tough: fortress . I agree with the above comments that the final fight in the level is quite unfair having to defeat four shamblers in such a small room. Overall would give this map a three out of five rating and say it is worth a download despite the final confrontation at the end of the map. ---

It’s a good looking map and a challenging one too; especially the beginning, where the player isn’t given quite enough room to maneuver. It has a couple of trolly parts, the other of which could’ve been avoided with an observant eye and the other with the aid of a secret (which had a pretty funny message going with it). ---
