You can get a bit lost, but they are OK. The quality of monster placement varies a lot. Brushwork a bit over its time.

Quite decent for a 1996 release.

Gameplay-wise I don’t have much bad to say about this map. Item placement is pretty well balanced.

Monster placement, as Cocerello stated, could’ve been better sometimes. Grenade lobbing monsters shouldn’t be placed below the player where they can do no harm, for example.

Also, the Manga Babes just felt out of place in Quake. xD And they had some weird sounds. Reminded me quite a lot of these female assassin enemies from Shadow Warrior, actually!

Somewhat of an ugly map, mainly due to the texture work. Does what it’s supposed to, but it’s not particularly memorable.

Again, some ugliness throughout the map, but more enjoyable than the first one. Some secrets are completely undetectable unless you shoot every single bit of wall.

Overall, enjoyable maps, but on the lower side of average.
