…Or better yet, an AD remake. After having played Iikka’s previous maps very cautiously, this one was a walk in the park and could’ve used some drones and advanced enforcers. It feels weird to arrive to a base after one medieval and 3 temple maps, and the weaker base enemies certainly don’t help. It would have been better as the beginning of a new episode instead of a “next level”. Secrets were harder this time around, though, and I couldn’t figure out how to access the yellow armor in the starting elevator shaft. If anyone knows, please share.

All in all, a very nice base map with some cool set pieces - the devastated warehouse springs to mind. A shame Iikka stopped mapping for Quake, I would have liked at least an entire episode from him.

In order to get the secret yellow armor you need to shoot a hidden button on a computer control panel across from the elevator shaft and it’s the right-most one. Then afterwards the elevator shaft will go downwards and you can ride on top of it until it goes to the bottom then you get the armor!
