Greetings Everyone - I posted some pics on a github thread comparing vkQuake with IronWail .8 and thought I would share.  
vkQuake on the left in both picture and IronWail on the right. The first pic is with stock graphics settings for brightness & contrast. The second pic I adjusted the brightness up 2 points and the contrast up 1 point in IronWail so 3 and 3 for each setting. And the two images are nearly identical. The second pic is of Retro Jam 7, Confirmation of the Underworld. In IronWail .7 I noticed a bigger gap in the visuals not to mention .7 did not have the remastered model support yet. .8 does and of course vkQuake.
