# what it takes and how do I upload a map or mappack?

is the following: I’m thinking of making  
a map and was wondering if I need to  
pay anything and how do I upload them  
on this site if possible. I thank you.

No need to pay anyone anything!

You cannot upload, all additions go through me. 🙂 You can mail me at “spirit ât quaddicted døt com” or upload it to [http://www.quaketastic.com/?dir=files/singleplayer/maps](http://www.quaketastic.com/?dir=files/singleplayer/maps) (Username: quaketastic, Password: igguratVertigoBlewTronynsSocksOff), then tell me.

Use standard ZIP. Make sure no files with the name already exist. Make sure to include a readme text file. Name the text file the same as the bsp or zip. If you want, mail me beforehand and I will help you make the perfect zip archive. 😉

I do not have much skill for the  
creation of maps. you have any  
suggestions of what editors should  
I use?
