I usually am a sucker for metal maps but this one didnāt do much for me. Feels kinda like a poor manās Tronyn map. Itās not bad but suffers from problems other than the displaced platform mentioned above, which can easily be solved by jumping in the middle of the pillars where it very visibly should be.
Generally too cramped and has some issues like damage impossible to avoid in some ambushes, monsters not aggroing if you shoot them when they canāt see you, no infighting or passages closing when they really shouldnāt. More specifically, when the dragon showed up, I rushed to get the pent. Problem is, the opening in the tower was now closed so I had to wait for the lift to come up, pause at the top and go back down again so I could ride it, wasting precious seconds of protection. Oh also, Iām not sure if it was intended but when the dragon sets you on fire, the flames never die out unless you pick up a medkit, and there arenāt many of them in the arena. And itās a bit too easy to fall in the lava below when youāre busy looking up and trying to avoid sustained dragonfire. One last thing, I think the sunlight is just a little too bright and could use some angle for nice shadows in the exteriors.
I donāt know what the others are on about ādifficultā secrets and that extendable bridge. Iām not very good at finding secrets but found most of them, except the GL one, without any help. As for the bridge, the clues are there right before your eyes, itās really not that obscure.

Pretty nice visuals overall, some tight spaces making it hard to dodge projectiles and lack of armor.
I really want to like this map more but it just isnāt good gameplay-wise
It is just the first map of this author. Check the rest of Hrimfaxiās maps - they are beautifull. RRP You can play forever, again and again!
I will eventually play them all as Iām going through all releases from oldest to newest
as for what Iāve wrote, well, since I canāt just snap my rating and move on like I used to I have to write at least something so Iām forced to at least somewhat describe my feelings about maps I play, resulting in messages like that. Since Iām not so good at writing Iād rather say something like āitās okā but with a minimum limit of 20 symbols per post I canāt really do that either. Well, maybe itās time to start paying more attention on what I have to write here.
