A very small, single room, start map, with only two difficulty options, Hard and Nightmare.

Almost identical to se.zip. The only differences being, one extra enemy and secret count reduced from 4 to 1.
Still a pretty bad, unappealing map.

It definitely feels like an improvement over the previous version, present in v6.zip. Several sections have been closed off, now providing a much more linear, and much less confusing, path to the exit. The hunt for random buttons is no longer present, so you mostly just need to find the exit.

Identical to dxmf.zip. Still suffers from the teleport that never triggers a Fiend spawn, so 66/67 is the maximum kills.

A modified version of s6.bsp, which is now flooded. Gameplay is completely different, there are no secrets and a fraction of the enemies. Still interesting to revisit older maps with a twist. The big room with 4 shamblers simultaneously is pretty difficult, particularly, if you’re doing a shotgun start.

A modified version of se.bsp. Pretty annoying map to shotgun start. No ammo, no weapons. So you’ll mostly have to rely on your axe and shell drops from grunts. Again, sections are closed off, so it’s a very short, linear map.

Overall, a really shaky 3 out of 5. Gameplay is kind of annoying on most of the mapset.
