Ginko is really up to something, no questionning of this. So why I do not give it a 5/5 instead of 4/5? Well, I think it is because the concept needs to be taken further beyond to see where it could go.

Not only Ziggurat and Chton are missing, but imagine this level extending to all the other episodes, including Shub-Niggurath’s pit. That would be sick.

Still, I give it a reasonably solid score.

Great little short gauntlet of rooms that you’ll recognize if you’ve played the first few levels of Quake as much as I have. The secrets are there too, and some of the transitions are amazing.
