It has some nice details and cool moving parts for a '97 map, but overall it’s also kind of crude imo.

I never could get the gold key door to open. Cheated, finally. The rest of the level is pretty good for an oldie.
Don’t have much to add to what previous commenters have said: the author’s attention to detail transforms a relatively straightforward map into something exceptional for 1997. A personal favorite.

Yeah, it’s crude in parts and the gold key door takes forever to open; however, it more than makes up for these flaws by providing fun gameplay, an interesting layout, and loads of neat movable geometry. I agree with JMP that it is exceptional for a '97 map!

Not a bad map. Decent enough gameplay and ok visuals. Nothing really memorable, apart from the gold key fortress, assembling itself from the lava.
Only the right side of the gold key door will react when touched. So don’t hug the left side and hope it opens, like me.
