I love the map, but why can I not get that super nail gun?
This map’s aesthetic is a complete win. It looks like a place I’d gladly live in, and the accompanying music piece.
Gameplay is good, but constantly hampered by how tight the spaces are. The last fight in particular has enemy too big to properly move in the environment. The courtyard fight is perhaps the most enjoyable even if you dislike arena fights because there is space. Exploring while fighting smaller groups of enemies is generally good too.
I’ve played this map in Mark V, Quakespasm, and QSS, and could only get the Super Nailgun in the map to properly spawn in QSS. So it is the recommended engine, but playable in others.

This was a really great fun to play map, just my personal feeling that it look for me a little tight regarding the places were you progress through

A bug meant that I was unable to restore saved games in this map. Happily, I discovered this early on, so I didn’t waste a bunch of progress by trying to restore when I was half way through. Instead I played right through in one go, and I have to admit that in a way it enhanced the experience. It did mean, though, that I didn’t take risks, and it may be for that reason that I didn’t find a single secret, and finished two kills short of the full complement. Good fun, but not exceptional by modern standards, and perhaps a bit too much of the action happens in cramped spaces.
Bit cramped, I liked the setting the most…
4/5

The door that can close in front of you before the last area, meaning that you can’t continue, is really annoying. Why put so much effort into a map and then not fix a game breaking bug that is pointed out? 2/5
