Nice Egyptian map with an infusion of metal/runic as well, including many wind tunnels. The level design is linear but enjoyable, with frequent looping and 4 keys to collect. The combat is fun, although you’d better secret hunt because you don’t get the SNG otherwise. There were a couple annoying Shambler traps where you’re practically guaranteed to take at least one hit from the furry bastards. The lighting and clipping could be better too but that’s to be expected of the time.

Not perfect, but very, very fun. Weird shooting angles in a few places made me think.

I’m currently running through all the maps I can find that Tronyn had anything to do with, either actively or passively. Definitely a fun map even 22 years later!

This is enjoyable, but disjointed. Everything looks great – it’s a really nice early example of the Egyptian Temple theme – but gameplay feels constrained, so that you move from one set-piece to another, ad though this were a chain map made by gluing together several separately constructed smaller maps. So not among the best FMB maps.
