A different style from the usual. Too small for so many secrets.

Looks nice, pretty original, a bit rough brushwork. Gameplay is somewhat questionable. Funny EXIT EXIT EXIT door. Too short…
Terrible map with deadends. Pointless. Ok for its age but nothing else.

it seems like the author was experimenting with brush work to me.
I have to agree with dBAudio in saying that it feels like more of an experiment than an actual map. Weird architectural stuff aside, and also agreeing with Spirit, half of the map really doesn’t have a point. You could start the map and rush to the EXIT EXIT EXIT, and there’s no reason to explore the rest of the map. Obviously we know this but there always has to be a reason to keep exploring. Whether it’s trying to find a key to open the exit door or needing to find a better weapon to destroy the enemies in the way, you have to give the player a reason to see the rest of what you’ve created besides their own curiosity.
The map is competent and you can finish it no problem, but all in all it just doesn’t seem to be a cohesive idea and really could’ve used a little more work.

This map has a bunch of interesting ideas, but it doesn’t put them together in any coherent way.
Kinda reminds me of Fear Castle in that it seems to be built as a deathmatch map with single player monsters pasted on top and the ability to end the map very quickly. It could very well be quite a fun multiplayer map, but as a single player experience it isn’t anything great. The architecture was interesting but incohesive.

short pointless 1996 quake map that i don’t think is worth the time investing playing through it. Seems like it was a map made for experimentation rather than a complete custom map meant to be released for the general public to play through. This map gets a one out of five rating from me .
