Played on nightmare. All enemies killed. 1/2 secrets.
Quite decent one, if we don’t care about the darkness. Seems to be inspired by e4m2. The brushwork is nothing special and the darkness hide it. The best parts about this map are layout, with side areas to explore, combat and ideas used. Good amount of ammo/armour/health. Difficulty around ID maps. The final room has some unusual and interesting combat and I liked a lot the catacombs part for its layout and ambience.
Haven’t found a vore in the room Fr3n mentions, but saw all of the enemies from afar and sniped them, quite easy.

Decent quake map that plays well but is way to dark which makes the map a pain to navigate through sometimes. I would give this map a three out of five rating and say its worth a download for this fun but somewhat flawed map.
As stated above, it’s a decently built map with some good pacing, but it’s way too dark in a lot of places. The exit could have been better marked too, because if you take the wrong teleport, then you have to run through the whole map again. Still it’s worth a download, because the layout’s not bad & it’s entertaining.

The visuals were definitely this map’s… highLIGHT. The way the author played with light was just marvellous to behold. I spent a good amount of time just simply admiring the lighting of the first room. Many of the areas with their lighting fixtures gave me some serious E4M2 vibes, which is a good thing in my book. The atmospheric lighting made things rather dark at times, but not too dark to become too aggravating for me.
The brushwork was quite good, but it felt like 80 % scale from the usual Quake sizing, which made things rather cramped at times. Still, supplies were plentiful enough to compensate for the lack of manouverability.
The visual presentation alone kind of makes me want to rate this 4/5, but the cramped geometry combined with rather unremarkable (albeit fun enough) combat forces an overall score of 3/5.
Oh, and I totally took the wrong teleport at the end. xD

An entertaining map, but pretty average. Everything is more cramped than it should, there are several rooms that are very dark and it is not very difficult. One of the secrets is a bit mindboggling, as its trigger is a small cube, floating, in the middle of nowhere.
