I was very fond of the way you use lava as-a-lamp in the last room.

Are we sure this is new? There’s no date in the .txt file, and it feels a lot more like 1996 than 2014.

Anyway, it’s perfectly OK, but wholly lacking in inspiration by modern standards. It’s also way too easy (on Hard). Truthfully, there’s not a great deal of reason to play this.

I replayed. My main impression is that the dearth of ammunition and health early on makes the map a reasonable challenge – I more or less had to use infighting – but that as the map progresses, the provision of health and especially armour becomes ludicrous: in the last third, I passed by two yellows and a red because I didn’t need them being still on 140 armour from the previous yellow.

Could be hugely improved by doubling the number of monsters, increasing the ammo, and removing half of the armour.
