Pretty little map, but little is the operative term… three “rooms” and five monsters.

I’m only seeing two rooms (plus one under-the-stairs cupboard) and a passageway. That’s what’s in the download. It’s pleasant enough, but there’s nothing to it.
OK, I see what’s going on: Do not click on the “Download: ad_fireplace.zip” link: that gives you a prototype. Instead, click on “Version 2” in the “Additional Links” section.
Well, the second version is much better. As with the first one, the brushwork and texturing are clumsy, but there is a pleasant quality to the progression, and a couple of good surprises along the way. Basically, it plays better than it has any right to. Upgraded from low two-stars to high three-stars.
