Competently made, but as the editorial description says, bland. The scale comes across as too large for the sparse detail, or vice versa. One of the two secrets is cleverly hidden, but the secret area itself is sadly as uninteresting as the rest of the map.
It is certainly not bad; it just feels like a very early, unfinished prototype. 2 plus.

This kind of thing hasn’t aged at all well. 2/5 seems generous, but 1/5 seems harsh. So I’ll err on the side of generosity given the 1998 timestamp.

Very endearing! Clever little secret room. Faithfully recreated layout. Maybe could use a bit more detail to make the environment pop but it’s novel and I liked it.
