Even if you are not into speedrunning, this is worth checking out (in that case, I recommend playing on Hard however, otherwise the places feel a bit empty sometimes). Level design is more basic due to the general purpose of this pack, but there are still visual highlights. Even has some nice intro/outro cutscenes which connect to the story of the original Quake episodes (start with “+playdemo intro” parameter to see everything).

not a speedrunner myself, but I liked the maps. Was not happy with the mockery of my lacking skill jumps. “lame secret” my ass.
