This is just insanely good.
I didnt know what AD was, but now i guess im stuck here for a while and already spent quite some hours in several maps recently.
(if you step across this comment - there is a new AD map released by ā€œdigsā€ last week, not yet listed here but worth it - see func_msgboard news)

no explanation needed really just see for yourself

Very pretty levels and enemies, and I love how the hitscan weapons and enemies were changed to fire fast projectiles instead. The new enemies are all nice additions (I particularly like the Minotaur). The hub system is also awesome, you get to choose which maps to do first. Overall a must-play for Quake fans

Truly exceptional, great work to everyone involved.

Great mod, some really beautiful levels. Couple of notes: please put a way to get back from the test zone, because without it you lose being able to track the levels with the ā€œcompletedā€ text. And also s1m1 dropped me off in level 2 of normal quake, instead of taking me back. I had been using quick save but luckily i had backup proper saves that got me out of both situations.

Does not work as implied. The Hub forces you into the console whenever you enter the portal and does not let you enter the maps by simply entering their respected portals.

Hi thanks for the reply. I can’t get anything to work to disable those floating arrows. I tried temp1 2048 and temp1 3072 in the rc file but that did nothing. With developer 0 the arrows remain. Is there a way to enable my cheat codes without developer 1 enabled and also get rid of the floating arrows?

Even though I’ve played Quake and its official expansions in the past, only recently did I leap into its modding community.

Arcane Dimensions feels so unique in its diverse monsters and maps that it pretty much plays like a pumped-up Quake, and despite having played only a handful of its several maps so far, it leads one to think that this is what it would look like had Quake been released recently. Can’t recommend this enough, especially for those seeking a massive/overhauled Quake experience.

Definitely a must play.

This is hands down the best Quake map pack there is. A vast world with large maps with different storylines. My absolute favorite was ā€œFiretop Mountainā€. The story was just incredible. I love this addon!
