No, actually it is 10.06.1998 as the zip file in http://www.gamers.org/pub/idgames2/levels/p-r/ has a timestamp from July 1998.

Arbitrary and pointless. I suppose back in the day when there were only ID map, something like this would have been of some value, but there’s really no point at all in playing it in 2014.

It might be nostalgia talking, as I remember having played this as a kid, but I'm quite fond of this map. It starts quite promising, with Resident Evil vibes. It does require some exploration, but it quickly devolves into just a regular Quake map.
