This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://www.quaddicted.com/db/canonical/ad4ca40bf42aab0fc69226ca4d8fad0cc84ba5f8b0372717346300dd1be89b94

Wow, that trailer makes me want to dust off my Pentium 75

Just wanted to add that it doesn’t let me change resolution in Quakespasm under Linux for some strange reason. This is the first time (after having played almost every mod out there) I encounter such issue.
Anyway, great gameplay and cool maps. Really enjoyed this one!

This was AWESOME! Loved the maps! It felt just like an original QUake or expansion pack. GREAT JOB!

This is the very essence of “old-school”: not only using vanilla Quake (and proud of it, as a super-secret reveals!) but also with level design very reminiscent of ID’s original maps, though rather larger.

I enjoyed it a lot, but it doesn’t quite make it into five-star territory for me because in several of the maps, it’s very hard to find your way around when every area has the same look. That’s especially true of The Fiendish Hatred (ze1m3s), but it’s far from alone.
