I would like to highlight a very fine quality-of-life function in ‘Quakespasm’ engine that is the autocomplete. Simply pressing “TAB” in the console will show you available options linked with a command introduced - for example, type “game” with a space afterwards and then press “TAB” to see linked possibilities, which should be folders installed parallel to your “id1” directory. If only one possibility corresponds with the term given, the engine should fill it. It works with partially introduced commands as well, hence the “autocomplete” term, I guess. After the “game” has been switched to a mod, you can go “map” and autocomplete to see a list of all available maps, especially if you need to manually introduce the hub name in order to start properly.
