Burrow Keep

Hello everyone,

I am a student currently working on becoming a level designer, and for our project we have been making Quake levels in TrenchBroom. This is the result after 7 weeks of work.

In this level you work your way up through a keep dug into the ground. It takes around 5 to 7 minutes to complete. I hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think.

This was fun! Really impressed with the detail you put into the environments, and the secrets were clever and intuitive (and I missed one). I especially liked the switches that you shoot to make stairs, although I think the amount of time it gives you is a little unforgiving.

It was a bit wonky to walk on some of the wooden catwalks, as they were uneven, leading to my character getting stuck sometimes. Also, while ascending the tower (where you get the nailgun), you can see some pretty obvious seams in the wall and window.

Overall though I had fun. Short, sweet, and clever.
