My first ever Quake map: Clock of Death
The map was made as a level design assignment at Breda University of Applied Sciences.
It was heavily inspired by Stranger Things and created with a love for castles and architecture.

This was fun! I think your love of architecture shows here, I was impressed with a lot of the visuals. The clock room especially looked very cool.
The level all flowed well. I think maybe you leaned on “killing enemies to progress” a bit much, but that’s not a big deal. And it was cool to have more doors open to reveal ammo and more enemies. It constantly felt like I might run out of ammo but I never did, so I suppose that’s good balancing. However, I wouldn’t have minded a little more of the nailgun and rocket ammo, just to have a little more fun.
I thought the secrets were a bit easy to find, but I did like the one that almost dumped me in lava, gave me a panic moment, haha.
Overall I had a good time with this, good work!
