The only two maps it connects to aren’t on Quaddicted so there is not much to do, but what the few things we have here are good.

Got it completely wrong with my last comment. The map is more than what it seems if it is loaded in its own, playing like a good hub connecting the maps in this series and getting better each time is visited when playin through the LF series, with some curious surprises.

I’m about to play this series. Do I understand correctly that I should start with this map? To which levels (of the ones available here) is it connected?
No, you should start with lfstart. Download all other maps by Leafface from quaddicted, put them in the same directory, and rename lfsp1.bsp to bssphome.bsp .
But I’m still confused by the series. This one is supposed to exit to lfsp6 the second time you visit it, but I don’t see that map on Quaddicted or elsewhere on the net. Is the name wrong again, or has that map never been released?

Pretty small tech base hub map that seems unfinished. Good concept, but lacks in implementation. You have two different spawn points, depending if you have a Rune in your possession or not. Enemies are removed from the map, through the use of killtarget, but still count towards a now impossible total kill count. A button required to open a secret is also randomly removed when you have a Rune. In addition, the trigger_secret for the secret map entrance is placed outside of the map boundaries and cannot be activated. So you can't get all secrets either.
Other than that, it features a very healthy Shambler and visuals look fine.
