This is Bryan Pillow best released map for quake with its unique metal theme and compelling level design. There are also plenty of secrets hidden within the level that make the level interesting to explore. I would highly recommend downloading and playing through this quake map and i would give it a four out of five rating as the map was well built for the year 1997.

The last and best of the author’s three Purgatory maps. Gameplay drags in places but is also quite inventive at times.

It’s an ok map. But it is somewhat ugly, no real attention to detail and a bit convoluted / confusing.
