Due to upcoming changes the forum will move to a separate subdomain. This will also be the place when people can add comments to releases (they will be embedded on release pages).
Forum, in this context, means a medium for open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper, a radio or television program, or [in our case] a website. (Source: https://www.thefreedictionary.com/forum).
Also, according to Wikipedia, an Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. A topic is a subject of conversation within a forum, and a single discussion on a specific topic is called a thread. A forum can have multiple topics, and it can be divided into subforums.
