Someone reached out recently and asked me to build an archive of all official (id software) Quake III Arena releases. Here’s the archive if you’re interested:

I searched pretty hard in all my regular places, and these files are pretty lost to time. Our best bet are people with more/better search fu and/or private archives.

Related, we also put together an archive of all Q3Test addons. Man, it was hard and the pickings were slim as id software tried to wipe all third-party mods/maps for the q3test from the net in '99 prior to the retail release.
