Quake Injector Version 8

A new version of Quake Injector is now available.

New features:

Dark mode + 3 other new UI themes
Works with the new API v1
Support for non-standard archive folder structures

Fixes:

Fixed: Couldn’t open file! invalid compression method
Fixed: maximized window state was not remembered
Fixed: incorrect startmap was often pre-selected

It’s great to see v8 release - themes and the invalid compression fix are fantastic~

I’m running the java version in Linux and it’s saving config and db files (config.properties, database.json, installedMaps.xml) to my Home dir, is there a way to set a specific dir for it to use?

Not currently, but there's a related open issue: Config should be stored in a sensible place

No, it's just that the new metadata API currently does not provide them.

We need to find a nice way to provide ratings, screenshots, comments etc via an API. That data is separated from the raw file metadata and I would prefer it to be separated at the APIs too. Ideally this API would allow writing too but that's more complex
