Sorry for the brief downtime

The HTTPS certificate of discuss.quaddicted.com accidentally expired so the site was down for some hours. Sorry if you were affected!

You could’ve been down from Cloudflare too. :face_with_tongue:

I hope not! It was before that.

But good reminder, I should really check what third-party service this stupidly modern forum software relies on and try to minimize that. I despise the overwhelming control that services like Cloudflare have on the internet and don't use them in anything I develop myself.

Something is wrong with the site. https://www.quaddicted.com/reviews/ doesn’t work for me at all. Also, when clicking on a singleplayer map archive link on the frontpage I sometimes get “DB errors”. Just came here to say this.

Also, the filtering/sorting is gone in the SP map archive.

Yeah, I’m getting a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error error for /reviews/.

@Spirit What are you using for your HTTPS certs? Heads up about this change if you’re using LetsEncrypt like me.

Thanks about the notice on /reviews/, things there broke when I finally uninstalled the old forum. I have restored it and added a deprecation warning. Got lost in spaghetti for a while.

If you encounter one again, please post the URL and error in a new thread in https://discuss.quaddicted.com/c/quaddicted-com/7 , then I will know where to look :slight_smile:

Should be fine I think, they are handled by Caddy and Discourse which I keep up to date. Cheers!

Oh forgot that comment.

The site is too heavy now for weak CPUs or the javascript filter is too badly written, I don't know. That's why the filters are only available if you enable them. If someone can make this more user-friendly, I'd love that! Ideally the index page would use the API for those queries too but that's something far away along the development line sadly...

On the positive side, the filtering is much more capable now. For example releases that you rated 4 or higher but that the community rates 3 or lower: https://www.quaddicted.com/db/v2/?loadjstablefilter=true#{"col_5"%3A{"flt"%3A"<%3D3"}%2C"col_9"%3A{"flt"%3A">%3D4"}}
