Texture WADs never used in Quake before.

-defullbrighted
-added transparency for alpha textures
-animated

Hey i’ve tried the ROTT texture wad and it seems that some textures that are technically animated in the game aren’t noted as such wad
These are: FPLACE, LTE_1 to LTE_8, PANEL, PISTON.

You can animate ANY texture as You wish with little trick:
rename textures You like by this way

+0_texture_name
+1_texture_name
.
.
.
+7_texture_name
Seems to be 8 frames maximum(?) - Fix me please.

and the same for buttons plus adding

+a_texture_name
at the end

Please notice “_texture_name” is the same at each texture!

Thanks for doing these. I am having fun digging through for hidden gems.

Oh, yes, there really are a lot of great textures that would fit perfectly into the Quake maps! hopefully someday they will come alive again. Now we live in Makkon era. I never cease to be amazed at the talent and creativity of this man.

A lot of cool texture packs here. But I cant seem to find Heretic (1994) textures (or am I just blind). I would like to use these in my next map. Can somebody help me with this?
