New database interface
You can use a newer and better interface for the database at https://www.quaddicted.com/db/v2/
Filtering and queries should work better there, anything else should be pretty much identical. If not, please shout.
I will add some redirection rules from the old URLs at /reviews/ and /db/v1/ soon and hopefully not break too much.
You can require specific tags to be included in the search by clicking a + icon or you can exclude packages that have certain tags by clicking a - icon. This is handled by the URL parameters include and exclude, which may appear multiple times. The search values must be URL encoded.
Simple include/exclude filters, generated with the +/- icons:
- Episodes that have a brick theme (at least for some maps): https://www.quaddicted.com/db/v2/?include=type%3Depisode&include=theme%3Dbrick
- Remix maps that are not bsp2 and have sources included: https://www.quaddicted.com/db/v2/?include=theme%3Dremix&include=type%3Dmap&include=source%3Dincluded&exclude=type%3Dmod&exclude=bsp_format%3Dbsp2
Combined filters with an author search and include/exclude filters on top:

There are some special fields, promoted from standard tags to “top-level” information, e.g. authors. Other fields are automatically generated for e.g. case-insensitive search, e.g. authors_txt. Documentation for that comes later…
query becomes a q for solr, so if you want, you craft some very advanced filters.
